Sad to hear another rare story of the late Biggie Smalls and how Marlon voice cracked 3:55 before telling this 27 year old story. Biggie's voice is very unique and hard to duplicate, but Marlon somewhat brought Biggie back to us, if just for a few seconds with that imitation. Amazing history this man carries with himself. 🙏🏾
Rare fact: The Wayans Bros seasons 1 thru 2 had the poster of the classic *"Ready To Die"* album by *😊The Notorious B.I.G.* hanging in the closet door during the living room scenes. *"And if you dont know, now you know"* - Biggie. 🤴🏿
Marlon and Shawn were so funny on the Wayans Bros show and sering their father John was hilarious. Thank you for that classic series which help start the WB sitcom era. ❤
Good to see Marlon doing great and still looking like he has not aged that much. Funny impressions he had but if you look at his body of work you will see that Marlon was a master of that craft even in the early days. Looking forward to seeing more of him. 👍🏾😎
NBC lost out on The Wayans Bros because WB did a great job at putting that flagship show on the air in 1995. I still love watching that show on Hulu 🖥. Thank Marlon and Shawn ❤
So amazing to see the youngest Wayan share these memories and address the questions we were longing to inquire about the show. Funny John Witherspoon and Biggie impersonation 😂
That loyalty for John Weatherspoon was real. So many people claim to be trustworthy, real and loyal but there’s only a few real ones left. Good stuff to see Marlon keep it 💯.
I did not know if the show with the wayans brothers had the 5 seasons available on DVD for years and finally they have it. This was my childhood in the mid 90's and it was also shown as reruns on WB years later.📹
I bought the first season of WB on dvd from amazon and laughed my behind off, good stuff. Bought the first season of the Jamie Fox Show on dvd from a local pawn shop a few days ago and had a pure nostalgic rush down memory lane. LOVED it.

Later on, Biggie would would have the number one single in America entitled "Mo money More Problems." Was that Biggie's way of paying homage to the Wayans as well since Biggie was very clever with his lyrics. 🎤 🤴🏿
Love the impression of Keenan (older brother), John Witherspoon (pops) and the late great Notorious BIG (Biggie). Marlon still has young man vibes, does not age and still funny as ever. 😂
This was a great interview to watch, the whole 2 hours. Great story telling. Shay is a great interviewer, he doesn't talk more than the guest unlike others.
I haven't seen Marlon in a good min, i glad he shared his experiences with us about the stars we grew up watching and had giggles watching their shows and movies.
Iloved this. You had a great story teller in Marlon Wayans. Much love and respect and the fact that he was there with both greats Tupac and Biggie on the nights each passed, says a lot to me.
To this day I cry when anyone talks about Tupac and his last day with us. And I’m talking balling cry. I honestly think him and I would be together if he was alive. I mourn as if he was once mine
Marlon: "I'm a project kid I don't know all this Hollywood stuff.." 3 minutes later.. "I know all of them, I grew up in Hollywood..." 😄 Marlon's the man though...✊🏿❤️
A lot of interviewees say they were there when 2Pac or BIG got shot, but Marlon is of the few people I actually believe 100% was there during those times. In the 90’s Wayans brothers were literally everywhere lol.
John was a legendary individual not just cause he was funny, he was real. He ad-libbed half his performances and killed it every time. He made up so many lines and it just continues to live on today. Friday the macaroni line at the end and half the takes they got of him was all just him doing his thing. John was a master of the craft and highly underrated. I'd easily put him up there as one of the top 10 kings of comedy
This was a great interview. In Living Color was a platform that launched a lot of long lived careers of some very talented people. Marlon gives credit to all the folks he worked with freely while accepting his career for what it, free of envy and full of both love and admiration for the folks he worked with. Shannon always does a great job asking well prepared and researched questions, then he listens to his guests and goes with them on the reply. Marlon was brilliant.
I used to work with a guy. Construction work. In our early 20's at the time. This guy was thee most badass worker I have ever met and still haven't meet anyone like him since and I am 43 now. And he was always high. Non stop. Made zero sense. I asked him once and he tried to explain it to me but basically it's medicine for him. It slowed him down.
